Le Hoai Trung has been Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2010. Between 2011 and 2014, he took on additional responsibility as the Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations, based in New York. Mr. Le rose through the ranks and has an illustrious career with Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs since joining in 1983.
As a Deputy Minister, Mr. Le is bilingual in English and French. He holds a Doctor of Laws from the Graduate Academy of Social Sciences in Hanoi, Vietnam, an MA in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, USA, and a BA in International Relations, University of Foreign Affairs, Hanoi, Vietnam. |
Anthony Nelson held various leadership roles at the US-ASEAN Business Council in the past 6 years, and is currently a Director - ASEAN, Communications & Social Media, Defense & Security, Myanmar.
He has led the first ever U.S. business mission to Myanmar just 2 days after the suspension of sanctions, the first high-level dialogue between U.S. defense companies and Vietnamese procurement officials from every branch of service since the end of the Vietnam War, and the first U.S. business mission to the ASEAN Secretariat. He is also the chief organizer for the US-ASEAN Business Council Institute’s SME training program, instituted at the request of the ASEAN Economic Ministers to provide skills training and networking opportunities to SMEs throughout all 10 ASEAN countries. The SME program - the US-ASEAN Business Alliance for Competitive SMEs has reached more than 1900 entrepreneurs throughout Southeast Asia. Prior to joining the Council, he worked with a variety of arts and education non-profits. He holds a B.S. from Northwestern University. |

Tilia Wong is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is a civil engineer by training and started her career in construction management for heavy civil infrastructure projects. After 2 years in construction, she went to Stanford University to get an MBA with a focus in Public Policy and Social Innovation. During her time there, she worked with several nonprofits in California and interned at McKinsey & Co in Kuala Lumpur.
Today, she is an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co in the New Jersey office. She does most of her work in Operations for Advanced Industries. In addition to her management consulting work, she has a passion for providing admissions and career coaching. |
Marcus Tan is a Partner of Yukon Capital LLC and serves as a Vice President of Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. Marcus is a member of the team at Montrose that has acquired 19 entities in the Environmental industry across the USA.
Prior to joining Montrose, Marcus held various operational roles in the industrial sector and dealt extensively with closely-held, family businesses. Marcus was previously a Management Associate with APM Automotive Holdings Berhad, the largest auto parts manufacturing company in Malaysia and part of the Tan Chong Group of companies in Southeast Asia. He was instrumental in effecting positive change throughout the entire organization, including the production, finance, sales, and treasury business divisions. His interests include travelling, skiing, soccer and rock climbing. Marcus received his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with honors from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a BS degree in Economics. |
Bao Nguyen is passionate about building products that delight and empower users. She is a product manager at Cisco Systems, focusing on creating solutions to improve users’ mobile experience and enhance businesses’ operational efficiency. Bao also co-leads the MBA recruiting effort and rotation program for the largest business group at Cisco.
Bao co-founds NgheNghiep.org, a non-profit organization focusing on providing career guidance to Vietnamese students. She is also known for her cooking ability and once cooked Pho for more than one hundred new members of the Kellogg Asian Management Association. Bao received a Bachelor in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Washington in Seattle, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management with the Top Student in Management and Organization Award. |
